The HVOF process is an excellent method for applying wear protective carbide
coatings and ongoing developments are contributing to better coating
optimization. The properties of thermally sprayed deposits depend essentially
on the manufacture process of powders
applied.
Therefore for powders produced by different
manufacture processes have to
be used with tailored parameters. A
guidance for that is given in this publication.
