Dr. Annegret Potthoff

Dr. Annegret Potthoff graduated with a diploma in the Department of Chemistry and Food Chemistry, Technical University of Dresden, Germany in 1993. She completed her PhD in the Department Hydrosciences at the same university in 2001, working in the area of wastewater treatment and characterization and dewatering of sludges. Until 2005 she continued to work in Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems in Dresden with focus on environmental engineering. In 2005 she took up a position as head of group "Powder and Suspension Characterization" in the same institute. Her research interests include the analysis of ceramic particles and the development of tailor-made suspensions for various applications including thermal spraying of suspensions.
