Dr. Ing. María Parco was born in Maracay / Venezuela on April 19, 1974. From 1992 to 1998 she pursue...Dr. Ing. María Parco was born in Maracay / Venezuela on April 19, 1974. From 1992 to 1998 she pursued her studies at the Simón Bolivar University of Caracas / Venezuela with Chemical Engineering Science as the main focal point and completed them as an Engineer. From 2000 to 2004 she was active in the field of thermal spraying as a Scientific Employee at the Institute for Surface Technology at RWTH Aachen. In 2005 she obtained her doctorate on the subject of the coating of lightweight construction alloys consisting of magnesium for anti-wear and anti-corrosion protection. Since 2005, she has worked in the Thermal Spraying Division at Inasmet-TECNALIA, Spain.
