Michel Jeandin, 55, graduated from the "Ecole Centrale de Lyon", was awarded a Ph.D degree from the ...Michel Jeandin, 55, graduated from the "Ecole Centrale de Lyon", was awarded a Ph.D degree from the "Ecole des Mines de Paris" (School of Mines/Paris) in Materials Science & Engineering, in 1981. He is currently, a "Directeur de Recherche" ( Research Professor) at MINES ParisTech (formerly "Ecole des Mines de Paris") in Surface Engineering and Tribology and Director of the Competence Center for spray Processing (C2P) at this same institution. Michel Jeandin authored/co-authored more than 300 publications, 121 of which in peer- reviewed journals. He is a Fellow of ASM (FASM), Chevalier of the Order of the "Palmes Académiques", and Vice-Chairman of the board of directors of the "Matériaupôle" association.
