Dr. Jan Kondas

Jan Kondas was born in Kralovsky Chlmec, Slovakia, in 1980. He graduated as a metallurgical engineer in 2003 Technical University in Kosice, Slovakia, and continues his doctoral studies on the University of Chemistry and Technology Prague, Czech Republic. Between 2006 and 2007, he worked as a researcher in the Faculty of Metallurgy of the Technical University in Kosice, Slovakia. From 2007 till 2014 worked as a process and R&D engineer in SAFINA a.s. in Vestec, Czech Republic. Since 2014, he is working as an R&D engineer in the R&D Department of Cold Spray Technology at Impact-Innovations GmbH. His research interest is to focus on the cold spray technology for the aircraft and space applications including repair and additive manufacturing, as well as on the powder development for cold spraying.
