M. Eng. Maria Manuel Barbosa

Maria Manuel Barbosa M. Eng., born in 1986, studied Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the University of Porto in Portugal. In 2009 she received the degree of Master of Engineering from the same University for the work entitled "Cold Spray Deposition of Titanium onto Aluminium Substrates" (developed at the Thermal Spray Center of the University of Barcelona, Spain). Since 2010, she is a PhD student at TU Dresden and at the Thermal Spray group of the Fraunhofer IWS with a FCT scholarship (Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, Portugal).
