Linh Tran

Linh Tran is currently employed by the LJ Walch Company as the Engineering Manager with the primary role of developing specialized repairs. He has over ten years as an engineer in his current position and is responsible for developing over hundreds repairs to reclaim unserviceable aircraft components in both fixed wing and rotorcraft applications. His aviation career started over twenty years ago after receiving his FAA Airframe and Power plant license in 1997. Linh went on to graduating with his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University in 2006. He also hold the (DMIR) Designated Manufacturing Inspection Representative title from the FAA since 2009. Linh currently oversees his company’s Thermal Spray projects, especially the Cold Spray Processes where he is involved with the R & D for new repairs development.
