Dr.-Ing. Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing. Sörn Ocylok

Dr. Sörn Ocylok; born 1978, studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and completed his diploma thesis at the Chair of Laser Technology in 2008. He then worked as a research assistant at Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology in the field of laser cladding and completed his doctorate on the topic of "Production and properties of nanoparticle-reinforced coatings by laser cladding for wear protection". Since 2015, he has been working at Laserline GmbH, where he manages the application and provides customer support for coating and additive manufacturing.
