He chose Technical Mineralogy as his advanced subject. Since 2006, he has been a Scientific Employee at the Institute for Materials Science at the Leibniz University of Hanover. At present, his work in the thermal spraying sector is concentrating on the fields of the adhesion of thermally sprayed coats and the development of spraying materials.
