Dipl.-Ing. Tobias Naumann

Tobias Naumann, born in Dresden in 1974, studied Production Technology at HTW Dresden from 1994 to 1998. He wrote his dissertation on the subject of Development of processing technologies for the repair coating of components by means of laser powder surfacing. After obtaining his final qualification, Naumann engaged in his activities in the Laser Surfacing Division at IWS until 1999 and, since 2000, has been an employee in the Thermal Spraying Group and responsible for thermal spraying technology.
