Dr. Timothy Sharobem

Dr. Timothy Sharobem earned his PhD from Columbia University in the City of New York in 2017. His research focus was on high temperature corrosion. He also holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Columbia and a B.S. in Chemistry from Fordham University. Timothy joined Oerlikon Metco in 2017 as a R&D test engineer responsible for developing a test facility for coating characterization and performance evaluation. He is currently a Materials Scientist in Oerlikon Metco’s High Temperature Competence Center with a primary focus on investigating and developing thermal barrier coating and related materials.
