Dr. Gopal Dwivedi

Dr. Gopal Dwivedi is a Research Scientist at Center for Thermal Spray Research in Materials Science and Engineering Department at Stony Brook University. He received his Ph.D. in 2011 and continued his post-doctoral research in the same department. November 2011, he was appointed as a research scientist. He received Bachelor of Technology degree from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK), India in 2006. His main area of expertise is thermal barrier coatings and damage tolerant coatings, in particular process and coatings development to address multifunctional requirement of thermal spray coatings.
