Sabouni Omar

Omar Sabouni received his PhD in Reactive Plasma spraying from Cranfield University (U.K) in 2000 and subsequently began his career working as a process engineer for firms specializing in the repair and overhaul of industrial gas turbines and other turbo machinery, and particularly on the thermally sprayed protective coatings used therein. In 2006 Omar joined Sulzer Metco, now Oerlikon Metco, as a project manager developing materials as part of the R&D organization. In 2011 he accepted a role as Product line manager for Air Plasma spray processes and is responsible for product portfolio strategy and marketing.
