Dr. Malko Gindrat

Malko Gindrat was born in Bienne, Switzerland in 1971. He received his PhD in plasma physics in 2004 at the Swiss Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL ) and has been employed afterwards as a Project Manager and Group Leader for technology development at Oerlikon Metco AG in Wohlen, Switzerland. He is leading national and international funded projects, internal divisional projects and R&D projects with customers and institutes to develop next generation coating solutions with vacuum thermal spray using the new Low Pressure Plasma Spray Hybrid Technology. His main interests and skills are mainly focused in the domain of aeronautics, fuel cells, gas separation membranes and applications in renewable energy technologies.
