Dipl.-Ing. Jörg Spatzier

Jörg Spatzier, born in 1978, completed his studies at TU Dresden in 2008 as a Graduate Engineer for ...Jörg Spatzier, born in 1978, completed his studies at TU Dresden in 2008 as a Graduate Engineer for Mechanical Engineering. Since May 2008, he has worked as a Scientific Employee at the Fraunhofer Institute for Materials Engineering and Beam Technology in Dresden in the Thermal Spraying Group (Thermal Coating Processes Department). In addition to the management and processing of projects in the field of thermal spraying, his research focuses on the area of the processing of new types of hard metal powders by means of spraying and laser welding technologies as well as on the investigation and characterisation of their coat properties.
